Cim’s art practice contemporises a journey of reclaiming and reimagining her First Nations mother’s stolen identity and how their relationship became a complexity of dreamlike scenarios, of startling discoveries and an extraordinary life together. Having obtained a Master of Visual Arts by Research at ECU in 2020, Cim now works out of a studio at Goolugatup Heathcote and is a member of the Swan River Print Studio. Printmaking processes, text, video, ceramics, painting , archives and photography make up Cim’s multidisciplinary art practice that has become a lifelong search to piece together lost fragments of history.
