The Digital Art Program promotes contemporary visual art that engages with digital technology – conceptually, materially, or aesthetically. A biennial program, in 2024 it awards a $15,000 commission to an Australian artist to produce significant new art for exhibition at Goolugatup.

It also incorporates an artist mentorship program, pairing the commissioned artist with a local emerging digital artist and providing an additional $2,000 fee and $500 travel budget to each.

The 2024 DAP commission artists are Tiyan Baker & Jason Phu, and the mentorship artist is Kathryn Gledhill-Tucker.

The 2022 finalists were Xanthe Dobbie (2nd prize), Rory Green, Jacobus Capone, Gabrielle Brady, Dan Bourke (Local prize), Danae Valenza, Brenton Alexander Smith, and Amalia Lindo (First prize).
