Digital Art Program 2026 - APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW UNTIL SEPTEMBER 29
The Digital Art Program (DAP) promotes contemporary art that engages, questions or challenges digital technology. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
computer generated imagery; digital collage; animation; moving image / screen-based work; interactive or immersive installation practices; expanded cinema; post-internet art, use of generative AI; virtual and augmented reality; 3D printing
For this iteration, DAP will be accompanied by a public events program pertaining to a broad range of interests and enquiries in the field.
Commission
The commission awards an Australian artist with $15,000 (excluding GST and super) to produce new artwork for exhibition. The fee is intended for conceptualisation, production, research, exhibition and administration. You can work with the Goolugatup Curator to come up with a working process that is best for you and your project, but in the lead up to the exhibition, there will be a minimum of two milestone check-ins, with an expectation of visual and conceptual material to discuss and look over.
The commissioned artwork will be exhibited at Goolugatup Heathcote, opening 7 November 2026.

- Artistic CV and Bio as a PDF
- Bio (Up to 200 words) as a PDF
- Project Proposal (300-500 words) as a PDF
- Support Material (up to ten images, with captions) as a single PDF
