Oceanic Feeling

The culmination of a multiyear arts project, Oceanic Feeling is an edited book by Elena Betros López offering readers a confluence of poems, interviews and essays that create a feeling of being drawn towards oceanic waters. By bringing together existing works of inspiration, and commissioning new responses from collaborators, Elena's inquiry into a relationship between the southern ocean and the embodied experience of desire has extended the processes of sharing that pool with the people and beings of that watery place. Designed by Ella Sutherland, with contributions by Kiri Tawhai, Judy Annear, Lichen Kelp, Kate Moss, Ben Woods, and Tessa Laird. This project has been supported by The City of Melbourne through its Arts Grants programme.
