Dwelling, Jessee Lee Johns

The 2025 TILT Commission has been undertaken by Jessee Lee Johns, whose practice traverses architecture, satire and social commentary. Dwelling is a large-scale installation work interrogating what is means to have and live in a ‘home’.

Dismantle, Jess Day

A series of fragmented sculptures and drawings that embody the time and attention that go into learning about home maintenance. Dismantle is based on the artist’s living room, which like many rental properties, has various unusable fixtures, rails, old cables and mispatched wallpaper.
