The Digital Art Program (DAP) promotes contemporary art that engages, questions or challenges digital technology.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
computer generated imagery; digital collage; animation; moving image / screen-based work; interactive or immersive installation practices; expanded cinema; post-internet art, use of generative AI; virtual and augmented reality; 3D printing
The program awards a commission of $15,000 to an Australian artist to produce a new work for exhibition at Goolugatup Heathcote in 2026.
For this iteration, DAP will be accompanied by a public events program pertaining to a broad range of interests and enquiries in the field.
Expressions of Interest to the 2026 Digital Art Program are open now, until September 29.
