The City of Melville’s HCP Digital Art Prize is a new national award for digital art. It promotes contemporary visual art made for screen, including video art, custom software, hypertext, and art games.

The Digital Art Prize is a response to the coronavirus crisis. It aims to directly support great contemporary visual artists in a medium that remains accessible – digital. This is one of a series of stimulus measures from the City of Melville, including a $15 Million Stimulus Package.
